Scott Veith - VP and GM, Director of Tennis Programs

Scott Veith is in his 4th year as head men's and women's tennis coach at Drew University. In his brief tenure at Drew, he's already set the Landmark Conference record for season winning percentage (12-0 in 2020) and has won a team championship and a Coach of the Year Award. He was the fastest coach in the rich history of Drew University men's tennis to reach 50 wins, achieving the feat in just 61 matches. 

Veith has been coaching college tennis for 17 seasons and has over 200 career coaching wins, but his coaching prowess extends well beyond the tennis court. Veith has also coached football, baseball, basketball, soccer, pickleball and platform tennis, and has worked with athletes of all ages. When he's not on the courts at Drew, he serves as the Head Racquets Pro at Chatham Fish and Game Club and is the Head Coach of the Sussex County Miners 17u showcase baseball team. He also has served as Drew's Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for two years. 

Veith was a multi-sport athlete at the collegiate level, having played football and baseball at Wilkes University.

Geoffrey Diehl - Asst. Director of Tennis Programs 

Geoffrey Diehl was an outstanding performer (2016-2021) for the Drew Rangers and led his team to a banner season in 2021. The squad finished with an 11-1 record while capturing the Landmark Conference title and a trip to the NCAA Division III Championships. As the team's No. 1 singles player, he posted an 8-2 record, including a victory over the eventual Landmark Conference Player of the Year that clinched the team's 5-2 win over the University of Scranton in the conference championship match. He was named the MVP of the Landmark Conference Championships. 

Diehl concluded his career with both Drew and Landmark Conference records for doubles victories after finishing with a 71-19 record. He also went 43-21 in singles action, and his 114 combined wins ties him for second in school history.

He is currently the Assistant Coach for Drew Men’s and Women’s Tennis, as well as the Assistant Racquets Professional at Chatham Fish and Game. He also serves as Director of Platform Tennis at Chatham Fish and Game.
